Haven’t posted in a while, but thats because I’ve been very busy creating a shop in our exhibition space at Rotabs.
De Candyshop is a little studio/boutique located in the Rotabs Stylecenter. Owned by Charlie and Wendy, two Illustration students from the Willem de Kooning Academy. At De Candyshop you’ll be sure to get a visual sugar rush. De Candyshop sells unique and handmade stuff only!
Friday the 5th of November De Candyshop will have it’s grand opening from 18.00 – 21.00. You’ll be there too won’t you?
Opening-hours from 5th of November: Wednesday & Thursday 10.00 – 18.00 hrs Friday 10.00 – 21.00 hrs Saturday 10.00 – 18.00 hrs
It wil be open until at least the end of January next year. So make sure you drop by!

Last wednesday I attended the Pressure Cooker event, an initiative of Nieuwe Garde Rotterdam.
The intent of a Pressure Cooker is that 25 creative people join in groups of 5 to brainstorm about an assignment of one or a few commercial parties. Each time the event takes place in a different location, this time at the Wall Gallery, situated on 37th floor in one of the highest buildings in Rotterdam; the Red Apple. Quite an inspiring place to brainstorm!
I had a blast and met a lot of interesting new people, and am looking forward to the next Pressure Cooker!
